Uniform Ripped, Officer Dragged
Detective Bryan Gillis, while directing traffic in full uniform and high-visibility gear, was injured in an incident at the Valhalla Golf Course. According to the arrest citation, the incident occurred when Detective Gillis attempted to stop Scheffler's car and give instructions.
The report indicates that Gillis was directing traffic into Gate 1 of the golf course. During the incident, Gillis' uniform pants, valued at approximately $80, were damaged beyond repair. Gillis, dressed in a high-visibility reflective jacket, also suffered pain after being dragged to the ground. Gillis was taken to the hospital for treatment of his injuries.
