The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) has announced the final details for the comprehensive Champions League reform that will take effect in the 2024/25 season. New Format and Schedule
The most notable change in the Champions League format is the expansion of the group stage from 32 to 36 teams. The 36 participating clubs will be divided into six groups of six teams each. Each team will play 10 matches in the group stage, with the top four teams from each group advancing to the knockout stage.
